Job Title: Marble Mason

We are seeking a skilled Marble Mason to join our team at Revitastone Design Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, mixing, applying, and spreading mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels, and setting tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Prepare rough plans and sketches
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Supervise other workers
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
  • Install tile strips
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Large workload
  • Overtime required
