About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Bhatoa Construction Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare construction layouts in accordance with building codes, using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality construction components.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to create a solid and secure structure.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a smooth and functional finish.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
