About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Twig Fertility Inc. as a Clinical Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests and sample analyses, as well as maintaining medical laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Collection and Preparation: Collect blood, tissue, or other samples from patients and prepare them for testing.
  • Test Conducting and Analysis: Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses, and examine the results of the tests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain medical laboratory equipment, and set up medical laboratory equipment as needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document observations on patients' specimens and log patient samples.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand for extended periods.
