About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Built-Up Roofer to join our team at Proteck Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing metal roofs, applying waterproof coatings, and erecting scaffolding and working platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the roofing industry
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
Work Environment

As a Built-Up Roofer at Proteck Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc., you will work in various locations, including commercial and industrial settings. You will be exposed to outdoor environments, working at heights, and in physically demanding conditions.
