About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at 883993 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet industry standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications, adhering to quality control procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, as well as manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine the weldability of materials and ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Production and Fabrication: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding activities.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Work Term and Language: This is a permanent position, and the primary work language is English.
  • Work Hours: Work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
