Job Title: Roofing Apprentice

Top-Line Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. is seeking a skilled Roofing Apprentice to join our team. As a Roofing Apprentice, you will assist experienced roofers in installing and repairing roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, single-ply roofing systems, and waterproof coatings.

Work Environment

As a Roofing Apprentice, you will work at heights, outdoors, and in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in fast-paced environments, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced roofers in installing and repairing roofing systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
