Job Title: Caribbean Cuisine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Caribbean Cuisine Specialist to join our team at Safron's Caribbean Delight. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as planning menus and estimating food requirements for special events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and plan menus to meet customer demands
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, adhering to strict health and safety standards
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Order supplies and equipment, managing inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations, supervising cook staff and ensuring efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
