Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled 310T Licensed Truck Mechanic for our operations. This role involves servicing various plant locations and ensuring optimal performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lubrication and preventative maintenance on mixer trucks and related equipment.
  • Operate and evaluate machinery to identify issues.
  • Ensure all repairs meet company standards and specifications.
  • Test mechanical systems post-repair to confirm functionality.
  • Diagnose and repair power train components.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively.
  • Repair and maintain suspension and steering systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
  • Perform minor repairs, including welding and cutting tasks.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid 310T (Truck and Coach Mechanic) License.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience at the journeyman level.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding maintenance manuals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of truck air brake systems.
  • Capable of troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, kneeling, bending, and working in confined spaces.
