As a key member of our organization, you will leverage your extensive network and expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive growth and success within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with our organizational goals in the Canadian capital investment market.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the financial services sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders, investors, and government officials.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on capital investment strategies to internal and external clients.
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Substantial professional experience in business development or economic development, specifically within the capital investment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Canadian capital investment and/or financial services sector.
  • Proven ability to lead strategy development and business planning processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities and experience influencing at senior levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

  • Commercial knowledge of the Canadian and UK markets.
