Cement Mason

We are seeking a skilled Cement Mason to join our team at AB Ltd. As a Cement Mason, you will be responsible for laying and finishing concrete to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language support
