Senior Solutions Architect Job Description

At Amazon, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) Solutions Architecture team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their digital transformation goals by designing and implementing innovative cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that address their technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services.
  • Design and implement highly flexible and resilient architectures that accelerate customer adoption of cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads.
  • Support the achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and experience working with end-user or developer communities.
