Job Summary
PTW is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Video Game Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and stability of our games.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and report defects and bugs in games, including clear reproduction steps and concise information in a database.
- Perform regressions (re-testing) of defects claimed fixed by developers.
- Work collaboratively with other testers and team members to ensure high-quality results.
- Follow test plans and checklists set by team leads to ensure high standards are met.
- Collaborate with senior testers and team leads to provide subjective feedback on games and software.
- Perform smoke tests and destructive testing to ensure game stability.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in English is essential for comprehending and interpreting internal documentation from international clients.
- Great observational skills and attention to detail are necessary for identifying defects and bugs.
- Basic knowledge of Google or Microsoft's office suites is required for data entry and reporting.
- Team player with flexibility in availability and schedule, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems and bug tracking databases is a plus.
- Experience with mobile gaming and video game testing is an asset.
- Basic proficiency in French is required for communication and collaboration when necessary.
