About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our bakery team at Tim Hortons - Port Dover as a Bakery Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our pastry chefs in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake and Prepare Baked Goods: Assist in the preparation and baking of mixed dough and batters, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide guidance and training to junior team members in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our quality standards and are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Operate Bakery Equipment: Safely operate machinery and equipment in the bakery, including mixers, ovens, and other equipment.
  • Assist with Inventory and Scheduling: Assist with inventory management and scheduling to ensure that the bakery is running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
