Job Summary:

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet and Equipment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of service to our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with our field staff and management team to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including purchase orders and repair records.
  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance costs are kept within budget.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fleet realignment strategies to optimize vehicle and equipment usage.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on all vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspensions.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Experience with fleet management software and systems.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including maintenance manuals and repair instructions.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including percentages, area, volume, and metric grams.

Required License or Certification:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Certified mechanic with experience in heavy equipment or automotive repair.
