- Issue Follow-Up: Address and follow up on any issues related to work orders.
- Shipment Tracking: Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and highway trucking rules.
- Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of vehicle operator activities.
- Communication: Process and transmit information to coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Emergency Response: Respond to urgent calls from individuals in life-threatening situations requiring assistance.
- Assignment Scheduling: Schedule assignments and coordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
- Customer Interaction: Contact customers to provide requested wake-up calls.
This position involves supervising a team of approximately 11-15 personnel.
Technical SkillsProficiency in dispatch management service software and electronic mail is essential for this role.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role is required.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
