About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in achieving store objectives, leading a team of sales associates, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Implement visual merchandising and store displays to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and loss prevention
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profit goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
