Job Title: Painter

Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Work Environment

As a Painter, you will work outdoors and in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. You will be required to erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging, and estimate costs and materials for projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Estimate costs and materials
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Physically demanding
