About the Role

We're seeking a talented Copywriter to join our Marketing and Sales team at Purdys Chocolatier. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content that showcases our brand's unique voice and personality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality copy for various marketing initiatives, including new product launches, retail signage, sales program initiatives, email marketing, eCommerce, and digital content across all Purdys channels.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Marketing Services Manager to translate creative briefs into compelling copy that resonates with our audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting to ensure our content remains fresh and engaging.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all channels.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of copywriting experience for a B2C retail or sales organization.
  • Proven experience in copywriting across various mediums and SEO writing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to write with a distinct brand voice, wit, creativity, and precision.
  • A portfolio of samples showcasing your work.
  • Mix of client-side and agency experience is an asset.
  • Past experience working with a sustainability and/or philanthropic-focused brand is an asset.
  • Both B2C and B2B copywriting experience is an asset.
