Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and track disease and pathology. You will use a range of equipment, including gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices, to perform procedures as described in the department procedure manual.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must have ACMDTT Enhanced Practice or CTIC; PET/CT experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Connect Care training is an asset. Strong organizational, technical, interpersonal, communication, and computer skills are required. Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment. Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, good judgment, a positive attitude, and concern for detail and accuracy. Ability to use tact, courtesy, and professionalism with patients, staff, and physicians.
