We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Rail Systems Assurance Specialist to enhance our Rail Systems Team.

About the Role

  • Develop System Safety and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) strategies and models
  • Conduct workshops including Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA)
  • Oversee system safety and RAM initiatives for rail projects
  • Execute ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) and SFAIRP (So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable) evaluations
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and tenders

Is This Role Right for You?

  • At least 8 years of experience within the rail sector
  • A degree in electrical, electronic, or information systems engineering
  • Professional Engineer certification
  • Familiarity with rail design processes

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of contemporary engineering safety management methodologies
  • Experience with requirements management software such as IBM DOORS
