Position Overview

Join our team at Delhi Delight as a dedicated Cashier, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate the cash register and handle transactions.
  • Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
  • Accurately tabulate total payments for goods or services rendered.
  • Receive and record payments, ensuring accuracy in daily reconciliations.
  • Provide a warm greeting to customers and assist them with their inquiries.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verifying proof of payment when necessary.
  • Maintain precise records of transactions and inventory.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in using electronic cash registers and Interac machines.
  • Familiarity with computerized inventory management systems.
