About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for interacting with existing service clients to explore vehicle ownership options and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the appraisal of vehicles and communicate ownership options to 90% of service clients, following up with opportunities to the dealership's standard.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, determining each prospective client's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Demonstrate the value of current vehicles and upgrade options to clients.
  • Facilitate purchase paperwork for clients' vehicles based on approved appraisal values.
  • Pass off interested clients to the sales team for a seamless handoff.
  • Stay up-to-date on automobile business terminology and technological changes.
  • Participate in product training and be familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colors, options, and standard equipment.
  • Use effective closing techniques and be profit-minded when closing deals.
  • Ensure client satisfaction to retain business and set goals for monthly productivity.
  • Attend department meetings and follow company safety policies.
Requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with others professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills, including internet and MS Office, with ability to maintain records using computerized systems.
  • A current VSA MDC License or willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A valid British Columbia Driver's License with a good driving record.
