Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to working safely.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or loader is an asset.

In this role, you will:

  • Work independently as part of a high-performance team dedicated to safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
  • Perform a variety of labor duties to increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot any problems that might arise in your area, and communicate with your Team Lead and Maintenance teams to get things back on track.
  • Work a rotating 8-hour shift schedule, which gives you flexibility to spend extra time with your family on days off.
