Job Title: Child Caregiver

Mildred Bernardez is seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to infants and children in a home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
Work Environment:

As a Child Caregiver, you will work in the employer's/client's home, providing care and support to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment.

Language:

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Work Hours:

This is a temporary position, working 32 hours per week.
