We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury in Ponoka. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to seniors with complex mental health needs.
About the Role:As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation programs for seniors with psychiatric illnesses
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote optimal functioning and community integration
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
