Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Part Time Recreation Centre Security Officer to join our team in Barrie. As a security guard at a recreational facility, you will play a key role in maintaining a calm and welcoming environment for patrons while upholding site rules and important safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce site rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors
  • Maintain order at the facility during busy hours, ensuring that entryways, exits, and hallways are clear
  • Patrol the site on foot to prevent and respond to incidents
  • Coordinate response to incidents and remove problematic individuals as necessary

Requirements

  • A valid security guard license and first aid card prior to submitting an application
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • A clear criminal background and professional verbal communication in English
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
