Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team at IPFusion. As a key contributor to our platform, you will work with a variety of technologies, including Cloud Services, Access Control, and Video Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of talented individuals to develop a best-in-class experience for our user base.
  • Create and enhance features in our core products, ensuring seamless integration with security and safety systems.
  • Investigate and diagnose issues as they occur in live environments, utilizing your expertise in debugging and problem-solving.
  • Assist with architecture and design, ensuring our platform remains innovative and efficient.
  • Support the professional development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
  • Ensure coding standards and code quality through code reviews, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Enable continuous improvement across the SDLC by introducing new technologies and processes, staying current with our platform and business goals.
  • Create and review technical product documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with C#, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and experience with one or more database systems such as MySQL, Cosmos DB, etc.
  • Familiarity with debugging, unit testing principles, and practical application.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Containerization.
  • Azure IoT or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with BACnet, Serial, and other communication interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Linux Systems.
  • Experience in the field of Cyber and Data Security.
  • Basic DevOps knowledge.
