We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at 2558698 Alberta Corp. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Balance rent roll and ensure accurate financial records.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and oversee the work to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment, and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Conduct safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and ensure the facilities are well-maintained.
- Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Experience in maintenance and repair is an asset.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- Language of work: English.
- Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
