Position Overview:

This role is a contract opportunity lasting between 12 to 18 months.

COMPENSATION:

  • Hourly wage begins at $41.83, with potential additional compensation of up to 22% in lieu of benefits and vacation, as per the ONA agreement.
  • Previous clinical experience may contribute to salary progression on the grid.
  • Enrollment in the HOOPP pension plan and health/dental benefits is available.
  • All standby call-ins are compensated at double time for a minimum of four hours.
  • This position qualifies for relocation support and temporary housing assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, as outlined in the physical demands analysis in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Must maintain good standing with the CMRITO and keep active registry status by acquiring the necessary CME credits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver Diagnostic Services as specified in the job description(s).
  • Ensure patient care aligns with the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics established by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, as well as the policies and objectives of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Engage in professional development activities, whether assigned or voluntary, to enhance knowledge and skills in response to evolving patient care requirements.
  • Participate in standby and on-call rotations during evenings and weekends to ensure continuous service, with the possibility of short notice coverage when necessary.
