About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Big Fish Games. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform services, including APIs, SAAS services, game development tools, and systems that power game features and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and bug fixes on the current toolset
  • Integrate and create internal features that are focused on new game functionalities
  • Write clean, scalable code
  • Develop detailed specifications
  • Test all stages of the product cycle to determine how well it performs and make adjustments as needed
  • Implement effective cybersecurity solutions and data storage technologies
Technical Requirements
  • Extensive experience with PHP and Java Spring Boot
  • Expertise in Web Development, specifically with modern front-end frameworks
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, GKE, Load Balancer, and Networking
  • First experience with Terraform, with a focus on infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding of the complete software development life cycle, including coding, testing, and deployment, with particular emphasis on the use of GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of API design and integration best practices
  • Familiarity with working with SaaS products and services
  • Understanding of relational (SQL) and non-relational data technologies
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, time complexity, and a commitment to writing efficient and performant code
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong front-end skills, including Node and Angular JS
