Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home setting, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations and treatments
  • Engage in community program development
  • Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions
  • Participate in community needs assessments
  • Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Conduct disease screening
  • Deliver health education programs
  • Deliver immunization programs
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Engage in research activities related to nursing
  • Manage home care cases
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
  • Provide consultative services regarding nursing issues and practice
  • Provide nursing care
  • Provide supportive counseling and life skills programming
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
  • Perform administrative tasks
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
