We are currently in search of qualified candidates for the position of Aerospace Maintenance Engineers within our Maintenance team. Our growing cadre of aviation professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality heavy maintenance operations. We prioritize the development of our personnel. Our Heavy Check Operations not only solidify our presence in the Winnipeg aviation sector but also create additional growth and training opportunities for all our Aerospace Maintenance Engineers.

Our Operations:

Heavy Checks: Conducting thorough maintenance inspections on both company and client aircraft.

Our operations are characterized by a fast-paced and dynamic environment, encompassing a variety of scheduled heavy maintenance tasks.

Our team is currently engaged in the maintenance of both DHC-8 and ATR aircraft.

Shifts: Day and afternoon shifts are available, operating seven days a week. Overnight shifts are not a requirement for this operation. The Heavy Check Operations team primarily works indoors.

Main Base for our Maintenance Team:

Winnipeg, MB

Qualifications and Skills:

Required: Completion of a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent experience such as FAA Training; Required: M2 Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of five years of experience. Candidates with relevant experience and completion of an ICS course will also be considered; Experience in heavy maintenance operations is an asset; Preferred experience on the following aircraft: Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 ATR-42 or ATR-72; Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; Strong troubleshooting skills; Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills; Familiarity with Transport Canada Regulations; Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changes in shift schedules due to operational needs; Type Course Certification is considered an asset. We strive for our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers at PAL to be Type-Certified on Company Aircraft. For qualified employees who are not already Type Course Certified, we will facilitate training and cover all associated costs.
