Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care Programming: Develop and implement developmentally appropriate child care programming based on Licensing requirements, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our students.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Collaborate with our OSC coordinator and staff to provide effective supervision and leadership, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Communication and Technology: Utilize technology, including Google Classroom and Microsoft Suite, to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Training and Development: Participate in Level 1 Training and other professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child care and education.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Educational background in child care service, with Level 1 Training required and Level 2 & 3 training supported.
  • Skills and Qualities: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Certifications and Experience: Valid First Aid certification, Food Safety Alberta certification (an asset), and experience working in a fast-paced, multitask, and team-oriented environment.
