About the Role

Mediterranean Bakery Inc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Baker Apprentice. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced bakers in the preparation and baking of a variety of bread and pastry products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bread Preparation: Assist in the mixing, kneading, and proofing of dough to produce high-quality bread products.
  • Pastry Preparation: Help prepare and bake a variety of pastry products, including bread rolls and other sweet and savory pastries.
  • Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is clean and well-maintained to prevent contamination and ensure efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of all products to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong desire to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Experience: Experience in a bakery or related environment is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Work Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
