About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Advance Forming Inc. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forms for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
    • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Construction
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with tight deadlines
    • Handle heavy loads and work at heights
    • Work in a team environment with other construction professionals
  • Requirements
    • 2 years of experience in concrete forms construction
    • Ability to work at heights and handle heavy loads
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
