Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Penningtons. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Provide coaching and training to sales associates to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and improve store performance

Requirements

  • 1+ year of leadership experience in a retail environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
