About the Role

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating out-patient musculoskeletal injuries, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with our inter-professional team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat out-patient musculoskeletal injuries, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
  • Delegate treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Physiotherapy students (as preferred).
  • Communicate with external stakeholders and client referral sources.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • 1-2+ years' experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
