Job Title: Data Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to join our team at The Kynetec Group. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our data engineering team in North America, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers to design, develop, and implement data solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Databricks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership position, with a strong background in data engineering and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and data engineering pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
