Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team at Weldwork Fabricators Ltd. o/a Weldwork Fabricators. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for assisting structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
  • Assist in the fabrication of metal products, including sorting metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

Our work site environment is dusty and noisy, with occasional work at heights. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and a hard hat.
