Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) or eligibility for active practicing licensure.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider and Renewal.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification.
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
