About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Britcan Management Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Construction Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working closely with our skilled tradespeople to deliver high-quality results.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring efficient use and minimizing downtime.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of our workers, visitors, and the general public.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken on site, and fluency is essential for effective communication and teamwork.
