Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Farah Mutasher. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a dust-free environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space.
  • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a clean and comfortable sleeping area.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure our clients have everything they need.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized space.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure our clients have clean and fresh laundry.
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our clients have everything they need.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and comfortable space.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check to ensure our clients' safety and security.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding work with bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Standing for extended periods to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling to ensure our clients' safety and security.
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
  • Will train to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
