We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Trans 99 Logistics. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable and receivable.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other relevant taxes.
- Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
