Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years in the industry is essential.

Work Environment: The role involves working in various conditions including noisy, hot, cold/refrigerated environments, and outdoors.

Work Setting: This position is primarily focused on providing on-site customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measure and establish reference points for installations.
  • Assemble and install components related to refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Utilize welding and brazing equipment to measure, cut, and connect piping.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process.
  • Initiate system operations and conduct leak tests using appropriate testing devices.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerants and calibrating regulators.
  • Interpret and apply gas codes effectively.
  • Manage the handling, recovery, and storage of refrigerants.
  • Repair and replace parts and components across entire systems.

Transportation Requirements: A valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary.

Physical Demands: The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.

Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots are required for this position.
