About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team at Duncan's Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist Fabrication Team: Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in the fabrication process.
  • Sort and Organize Materials: Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to ensure efficient production.
  • Grind and Chip Excess Metal: Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and Unload Vehicles: Load and unload vehicles with metal products and materials.
Work Environment

As a Metal Fabrication Labourer at Duncan's Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English.
