We are seeking a skilled Paralegal with 2-5 years of experience in personal injury law to enhance our expanding practice:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough file assessments and manage case documentation.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with clients, insurance representatives, healthcare professionals, and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare and finalize all necessary documentation and correspondence.
  • Secure authorizations, review evidence, and participate in examinations under oath, as well as LAT Case Conferences and hearings.
  • Proactively manage cases to ensure clients receive their entitled benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid P1 Paralegal License.
  • 2-5 years of experience in personal injury law in Alberta (Required).
  • In-depth understanding of the SABS and Dispute Resolution (LAT).
  • Adept negotiator with a proven track record in settling and contesting accident benefits claims.
  • Ability to efficiently review and manage a substantial case load.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and research capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service.
  • Outstanding time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing independently.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, highly organized, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Punjabi or Hindi is an asset.
