Your Contribution
As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our Environmental Team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering consulting services as a Senior Environmental Engineer / Environmental Science Professional, focusing on Phased Environmental Site Assessments, risk assessments, remediation, and hydrogeological evaluations;
- Utilizing your extensive knowledge of environmental engineering or science to manage complex projects effectively;
- Preparing and reviewing technical documents, including Records of Site Condition (RSCs) and compliance reports as per O. Reg. 406/19: On-Site and Excess Soil Management;
- Developing proposals and managing project budgets;
- Mentoring and guiding junior environmental professionals and field technicians;
- Collaborating with project managers to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance;
- Building and nurturing client relationships in partnership with the senior leadership team;
- Consulting on design, processes, and engineering techniques to support business development and strategic planning;
- Providing technical leadership and support to team members;
- Acting as a senior consultant for various environmental projects, designs, and deliverables.
Your Profile
- A University Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Geology, or a related environmental field;
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental consulting;
- Qualification as a Qualified Person (QP) as defined in O. Reg. 153/04 is a significant advantage;
- Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of projects;
- Proven success in business development initiatives;
- Experience with Federal client projects is considered beneficial;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- A willingness and ability to travel as required.
