Cost Accountant Role at CB Canada
A leading manufacturing company located in the country is seeking a Cost Accountant due to unprecedented growth. This onsite role reports to the Director of Finance and involves costing and general accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end tasks as assigned by management
- Prepare financial reports and journal entries for senior management
- Determine product costing for all stock-keeping units (SKUs)
- Assist with account reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy
- Provide backup duties for Accounts Payable and Receivables teams
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, strong costing skills, and working towards Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Data management skills and ability to manipulate large data sets are required.
