About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Los Panas Kitchen Inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, are clean and sanitized.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders, and handling customer transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in an urban area.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: The successful candidate will work 30-50 hours per week.
