We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, and determine weldability of materials.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data, and verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work as a team player.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a manufacture, marine, installation, fabrication, and construction environment, with exposure to dusty conditions.
